Position

The Country Head represents the bank in Sint Maarten. This key position within the bank reports directly to the CEO of MCB Group. The position has final P&L responsibility for the Sint Maarten office. Translates the MCB Group's strategy for the local organization in collaboration with the management team. The focus is on Operational Excellence: combining reliability and security with innovation and progress. Ensures solid process management, creates internal clarity, and is driven by quality. Responsible for enhancing productivity, operating cost-efficiently, and maintaining relationships with regulators.

Profile

A solid professional with a proven track record as a connecting leader in a final-responsibility role in the financial sector over the past 15 years. Capable of taking the organization and its employees to the next level. Translates strategy into operations. Has a strong understanding of internal processes, with an eye for quality and risk management. Radiates confidence, inspires, and leads by example. Thinks in terms of possibilities and knows how to convey messages constructively. Above all, is decisive, transparent, and consistent. Culturally sensitive, energetic, and a strong communicator. Has successfully implemented structure-driven organizational change processes. Thinks quickly and has an eye for relationships. Gets things done. Is at the heart of society, works with a client focus, and can expand the existing network. Has a strong affinity for Caribbean culture and is fluent in both English and Dutch.
