Senior Bookkeeper

Job description

The Senior Bookkeeper will support the finance team in all aspects of financial accounting and reporting, including PSP reconciliations. This role demands strong attention to detail, the ability to work under tight deadlines, and a willingness to learn and grow within the organization. The Senior Bookkeeper will report directly to the Managing Director.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports;
• Record and reconcile financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable;
• Conduct monthly reconciliations of Payment Service Providers (PSPs);
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes;
• Assist with the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings;
• Perform basic financial analysis and provide recommendations based on findings;
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records in the accounting system and documentation;
• Update and maintain the general ledger;
• Conduct bank reconciliations;
• Assist with projects and the automation of department processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field;
• Knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and accounting principles and practices;
• Experience with accounting software;
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets;
• Experience in the Trust, Offshore or Gaming Industry is a pre.
