Financial Accountant

Our client, a forward-thinking and growing company, is looking for a financial accountant who’s ready to take the next step in their career.

Role

As a financial accountant, you will be key in managing financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance with accounting standards. You’ll be part of a dedicated finance team of five, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial processes.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and report.

• Record and reconcile financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.

• Conduct monthly and yearly reconciliations of bank accounts and Payment Service Providers (PSPs) using the three-way reconciliation method.

• Support the month-end and year-end closing process.

• Assist with the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings.

• Perform basic financial analysis and provide recommendations based on findings.

• Maintain accurate and organized financial records in the accounting system and documentation.

• Update and maintain the general ledger.

• Assist with projects and automation of the department processes.

Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and accounting principles.

• Experience with accounting software.

• Ability to work both in a team and autonomously.

• Background in the Trust, Offshore, or Gaming Industry is a plus.
