To support this development, they are looking for an experienced Financial Manager who will play a pivotal role in driving financial excellence and operational efficiency.

Job description

As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic insight. Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead a team, oversee financial processes, and contribute to organizational efficiency. This role requires a hands-on approach, as well as strong leadership and communication skills to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Prepare, monitor, and review financial reports.
  • Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Monitor company performance, identifying cost-saving opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Generate financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities, presenting findings to the management team.
  • Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Manage HR tasks, including recruitment, onboarding, and staff evaluations.
  • Oversee payroll administration and employee benefit programs.
  • Lead and coach the finance team, setting clear goals and fostering professional growth.
  • Coordinate audit processes and recommend operational efficiency improvements.

Requirements:

  • A completed Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in both accounting and finance roles.
  • Expertise in financial reporting standards, regulations, and principles.
  • Proven leadership experience, preferably managing small teams.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in QuickBooks, Exact, and Excel.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
  • Experience in HR processes is a plus.
