For one of our clients, we are seeking a Junior Quality Control Officer who will be responsible for preventing and ensuring compliance with regional quality policies and audit standards. This position is part-time (20 hours per week).
In summary, your responsibilities will include:
- Preventing the occurrence of pests in the distribution center and auditing standardized sanitation procedures to comply with regional quality policies.
- Auditing supplier and customer receptions according to product quality requirements to ensure the integrity of merchandise.
- Monitoring trucks, drivers, pallet disposition, merchandise quality, and conducting unloading audits to ensure the implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and loading audits.
- Tracking customer complaints related to product quality to strengthen customer relationships.
- Analyzing data from thermographs to control cold chain indicators.
- Collaborating in the development of departmental indicators to generate useful and timely information for decision-making.
- Conducting rounds of good storage practices and temperature control in chambers to ensure optimal merchandise storage conditions.
- Collaborating in stock recovery processes to meet the recovery times agreed upon with the customer.
Skills and experience:
- Minimum completed MBO in engineering or a related field.
- Experience in a similar position is appreciated.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Spanish.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
- Analytical, organized, eagerness to learn and results-oriented.
- High degree of independence.
