Optical Lab Specialist

Are you passionate about eyewear and dedicated to providing high-quality optical solutions? Our client, a in vision care, is seeking an Optical Lab Specialist to join their team.

About the Role
As an Optical Lab Specialist, you will be responsible for cutting, grinding, and polishing lenses to fit eyeglass frames with precision. You will play a key role in guiding customers through the eyewear selection process, ensuring accurate prescriptions, and maintaining high standards in optical dispensing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Experience & Sales: Assist customers in selecting eyewear based on their prescription, lifestyle, and preferences. Provide product recommendations while achieving sales targets.
• Lens Preparation & Processing: Cut, shape, and mount lenses into frames, ensuring accuracy and quality. Repair and adjust frames as necessary.
• Prescription Handling: Review prescriptions and ensure proper measurements and alignments for optimal vision correction.
• Order Management: Process customer orders, track lab jobs, and maintain accurate records of transactions.
• Follow-Ups & Adjustments: Conduct post-purchase follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and perform any necessary adjustments.
• Store Maintenance & Merchandising: Maintain organized laboratory and retail space, ensuring proper product displays and store presentation.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Associate Degree in Business Administration/Management or a related field.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Optical Dispensing.
• Experience in a retail sales environment is a plus.
