For one of our long-standing clients in the IT industry than 20 years of experience, we are looking for an Order Processing & Logistics Assistant with strong communication skills.
You will assist with placing and processing orders with local and international suppliers, supporting the end-of-the-end order process from placing purchase orders to coordinating deliveries and maintaining inventory while working closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams.
Your role
- Assist with placing and processing orders with local and international suppliers.
- Support order administration, maintain accurate documentation, and assist with supplier payment requests and follow-up.
- Monitor and coordinate purchased orders by communicating with suppliers, freight forwarders, customers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and provide status updates.
- Support warehouse and inventory operations, including maintaining stock levels and coordinating product pickups and deliveries.
- Help track hardware and software contract expiration dates.
Who you are
- A motivated, proactive, and curious student or junior professional with an interest in logistics, procurement, finance, or IT products and a strong desire to learn and grow.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English, Dutch, and Papiamentu (spoken and written).
- Comfortable working with numbers and administrative tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment.
