Sales Representative
For one of our long-standing clients in the IT industry, we are looking for a Sales Representative with IT knowledge and affinity. You are responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying opportunities, promoting products and services, and building strong relationships with customers and key vendors. In this role you work closely together with the technical, project and finance team.
This role is not limited to product sales; it also includes selling the company and project-based engagements. The Sales Representative will manage pricing strategies, negotiate with vendors for the best deals, and ensure customers receive optimized solutions that meet their operational needs. - Serve as the main point of contact for sales inquiries, solution discussions, and follow-ups.
- Identifying and qualifying potential customers to generate new business opportunities,
- Conducting customer needs analysis to propose tailored solutions
- Develop competitive pricing strategies to maximize margin while staying market competitive
- Coordinate with procurement to source items at the best possible cost
- Collaborate with the project management and technical teams to ensure accurate solution design
- Identify new service opportunities based on customer challenges
Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business, IT, or Marketing.
- 2–4+ years of sales experience (IT solutions or project sales preferred).
- Experience negotiating with vendors and preparing competitive pricing.
- Prior knowledge of solution selling and basic technical understanding is an advantage.
- Solid understanding of margins, cost structures, and vendor terms
