Sales Team Lead
For one of our long-standing clients in the IT industry, we are looking for a dynamic Sales team Leader for an expanding sales team. This person has extensive hands-on experience as a sales professional and has a proven track record of closing deals.
This role requires someone who has personally succeeded in sales and can translate real-world selling experience into effective coaching, leadership, and performance management of a sales team. The ideal candidate leads from the front and understands the day-to-day realities of selling.
Responsibilities
- Set clear sales targets and ensure consistent achievement through hands-on guidance.
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales representatives using practical, real-world sales experience.
- Actively support the team in prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing deals.
- Review, refine, and improve sales processes to increase conversion rates and productivity.
- Prepare sales performance reports and present actionable insights to management
- Ensure compliance with sales processes, pricing, and company policies.
- Recruit, onboard, and mentor new sales team members.
- Deliver a customer-centric approach by proactively identifying issues, resolving challenges, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- 5 years of direct, quota-carrying sales experience.
- Prior experience leading or mentoring a sales team is strongly preferred.
- Experience with CRM systems and structured sales processes.
- Ability to analyze sales pipelines and performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for revenue growth.
- Excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
- High energy, resilience, and performance-driven mindset.
