Store Manager

For one of our long-standing clients in the retail industry, we are looking for a people-oriented Store Manager. You will be leading a stable, experienced team of around 30 store colleagues, many of whom have worked at the company for over 25 years.

As the Store Manager, your main goal is to manage your team in a way that ensures the store runs smoothly for both customers and staff. You are someone who can easily connect with people, while also being confident enough to give clear direction and hold team members accountable when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and schedule a team of approx. 30 colleagues
• Oversee daily store operations and ensure a pleasant customer experience
• Handle customer complaints and maintain service standards
• Manage opening and closing of the store
• Supervise store cleanliness and visual presentation
• Hire and onboarding of staff
• Be involved in in-store marketing activities
• Ensure smooth communication across departments (such as HR and inventory)

• Fluent in Papiamentu (English and Spanish is a pre)
